exactly what files would we need to isolate to create a recolor for this?

It uses the texture file from the Aviator glasses (yuAcc_GlassesAviators). Actually, I'll add that to the description page, in case anyone else wants to make recolours - thanks for the reminder!

Me too! Thanks for the Sims 4 conversion. This would be perfect of the Levar Burton sim that was created for E3. Now I wonder if it was uploaded, might have to create him myself.

I was thinking the same thing. These would be great for a Georgie LaForge sim. I wish I knew how to make meshes. I could make a Star Trek: TNG uniform. I'll have to wait for a Trekkie more talented than I to do it.
