Default Dana | Common Room
BEFORE SCENARIO

As a matter of fact I am," Harry said.

"You are?" Ron questioned. "Well, why didn't you tell me earlier? Let it out then! Who's the lucky lady?" Harry paused. "Who is it? No need to be nervous Harry, it's not like I'm going to be jealous." Ron rolled his eyes.

"I've gotten used to all the girls being after you, anyhow. So... who is it?"

"Ginny," Harry replied. Ginny? Dana thought. Harry's going with Ginny, why didn't she tell me? She turned to Ron. Who knew how he would react to this.

"Ok," Dana said smiling. "I mean, you're happy with your decision, that's all that matters... right?"

Dana looked up at the clock. Lunch was almost over, so Divination class was next. She had to hurry soon, didn't want to get points taken away.

Default Ron Weasley | In the Common Room
BEFORE SCENARIO

"Ginny," Harry said.

Ron felt his jaw drop open. Sure, he had suspected it, but it had all just seemed like some silly game, like he was just kidding himself and getting all paranoid over nothing. But this was it. Harry was taking Ginny to the dance, and there was nothing he could do about it.

"Ok," Dana said smiling. "I mean, you're happy with your decision, that's all that matters... right?"

Ron glared up at her. She seemed to take the message and hurried out of the common room to her next class. Ron rubbed his forehead, trying to come up with a good response.

"You're taking Ginny," Ron repeated, his eyes closing. He tried to visualize Ginny and Harry dancing, Ginny and Harry holding hands, Ginny and Harry snogging in some empty corridor... He found it easy to visualize, much too easy. "I suppose I should've seen it coming." He chuckled softly, opening his eyes again. "And better you than Dean." He sat up straight and looked right at Harry, who had up until then been avoiding his gaze.

"But Harry," Ron pleaded. "Ginny's my sister. You're my best friend." Somehow the words made more sense than he had wanted them to. "Just... Take good care of her, alright?" He felt a bit resigned. That was all for now. He would think about it during Divination. "Let's get to class, then. Come on, Hermione. Harry." He picked up his books and proceded to class.

Default Dana | On Her Way to Divination Class
BEFORE SCERNARIO

Dana turned back to Ron to see him glaring at her. She took notice and left the common room to head to class. Dana felt bad, she felt as if she did something wrong, which she probably did. Dana had a way of doing things like that.

Hopefully Ron won't be mad, Dana thought as she headed to Divination class.

Dana's thoughts soon traveled to the dance, once again. For some reason, it was eating at her. She probably wouldn't go anyways, because the only reason she would go would be for the food, unless she had a date. Which Dana thought was highly unlikely.

Soon Dana entered Divination class, and everyone was talking about the dance. She just wanted to get it out of her head.

She took a seat by herself. Hopefully no one would sit next to her, she just wanted to be by herself.

"But Harry," Ron said. "S2C really sucks now. Let's get to class, then. Come on, Hermione. Harry."

Harry watched Ron and Hermione leaving for Divination, and breathed a sigh of relief that Ron hadn't gotten terribly angry. Ginny and he had been through things together that no one else had, and because he knew Ginny understood some of the things he had experienced, Harry felt more safe and comfortable with her than with any other girl he'd ever known. Of course, there was Hermione but Hermione was...Hermione, as good a friend to him as Ron. And, he considered, she seemed to have feelings for someone else.

He shook himself out of his reverie and sought out his Divination books. Why he had to suffer through another term of Divination was beyond him! Considering all that had happened, he'd just as soon spend detention with Snape than be psychically dissected again by Professor Trelawney, even if she was the source of the prophecy about the Chosen One.

Shuffling through the hallways, still considering Ron's response about the dance, he realized he had better let Ginny know so she wasn't caught unawares. He scanned the trickle of students who were as late for class as he, but she was not among them. Draco and that other girl, however were. As usual, Draco's pale, smug, haughty face was lost in consideration of some insidious plot or another. His desire to eavesdrop would have to wait.

He made his way to Divination, and cursed to see that most chairs were taken. Dana sat alone at one of the ridiculously ornate and delicate tea tables, so Harry joined her with a nod. There was no room for his textbook on the teetering table, which was cluttered with china cups, bones and oddly shaped stone dice. He idly rolled the dice a few times, wondering what sort of ridiculous power they were supposed to have.

"Harry Potter!" Professor Trelawney trilled in her singsong voice, "you must not roll the dice just yet! They are a very...powerful...mysterious tool for......" and her voice trailed off as she made her way towards a burbling teapot and a few squawking, freakishly colored birds that Harry had never seen before.

"Dana, can I borrow a quill?" Harry asked, not worrying about being heard. Each and every student was having some sort of conversation, and none of it was about Divination. He wanted to write a note to Dumbledore so he could send it by owl after class.

When she provided it, he looked at her again. She seemed like a pleasant enough person, but a little shy.

In an effort to strike up a conversation, he asked "So, where are you from?"

When sitting at the table, Harry came over and sat next to her. "Dana, can I borrow a quill?" he asked. Dana nodded, and handed it to him.

"So, where are you from?" This startled Dana, she wasn't really paying attention to much at the time.

"Oh, uh, London England," Dana replied. "It's just a little house, me, my dad and mom, my grandmother, and my little brother live together." She paused. "And uh, what about you, where do you live?" Dana hoped she wasn't sounding stupid. She just wanted to keep the conversation going.

"Little Whinging," Harry responded, "in Surrey. With my aunt and uncle." Harry had little desire to talk about the Dursley's. But with Sirius now dead, he had no choice but to continue living with them, and of course it was for his own safety. His dream to live with Sirius was gone forever.

"They're muggles," Harry said, and left it at that.

He found himself relaxing and put his letter to Dumbledore aside. Harry spied Ron and Hermione across the room, and there was that Ophelia Black, and that girl from Ravenclaw.

Idly rolling the dice again, and asked, "Are you as sick as I am hearing about this dance? I wish it were over already. Hey, have you ever played Quidditch?"

"Little Whinging," Harry replied. "In Surrey, with my Aunt and Uncle. They're muggles."

Dana nodded. She saw Harry put a letter next to him. Funny, Dana thought. I didn't notice it until now. Harry rolled the dice and asked, "Are you as sick as I am hearing about this dance? I wish it were over already. Hey, have you ever played Quidditch?"

Dana smiled and replied, "Yeah, it really does get tiring after a while." She paused, turning to Harry. "I talked about it for a long time. I didn't realize how annoying it was until I heard other people talking about it alot."

Dana continued. "And no, I've never played Quidditch. I'm not really fond of heights." Strangely enough, Dana seemed a little more confident. She usually stumbled with her words when she talked.

Dana continued talking. "I have always wondered though what it would be like to play Quidditch. I'd probably love to play, if it was on the ground."

"What do you think of Divination?" Dana asked. "I'm pretty superstisious and everything, but Divination is frankly, quite boring. Now Transfiguration, that is more my style," she said, smiling. She didn't know if she should be talking about how boring Divination was when she was in the classroom, but she didn't really care at this point.

Harry groaned.

"Believe me, Dana," he said, "I'd rather be almost anywhere else than in this class. This is a crock."

He said the last a bit loudly, and hurriedly checked for Professor Trelawny's whereabouts, but he needn't have. She was deep in conversation with one of the psychedelically feathered birds.

"Transfiguration is a great class," Harry said. "Wait, do you even ride a broomstick?"

"Transfiguration is a great class," Harry continued. "Wait, do you even ride a broomstick?"

"No," Dana said, a little disappointedly. "I've never really thought about it, now that you've asked." She paused, bringing herself closer so that only Harry could hear. "Me and my family... were not the most, richest family, if you know what I mean," she whispered.

"I don't really like to talk about it, but, we can't really afford most things, including a broomstick." Think positive, she thought, think positive. "But it's okay, she said a bit louder. "I mean, I'm not doing anything that involves a broomstick, so it's fine," she said, trying to cheer herself up a little.

"So, what's it like, riding a broomstick?" she asked. Dana never rode on one, so she was dying to ask. "I bet it's great."

Default Draco~~~>Divination
.: Draco walked into his first class of the day which was Divination. He peered througout the classroom to see if any of his friends had that class. To his surprise he spotted Potter he sneered at the site of Harry. He didn't want to have to look at his mug all class. He couldn't believe it, they always did this to him always had to put him in the exact same class as Harry. He glared in the direction of Harry hoping that he would see it. Draco saw Harry turn around for a split second, and he knew that Harry had caught his evil stare. He just couldn't wait until his plan was finally complete to rid of him. Across the room he spotted Crab and Goyle his two best buddies. He scurried across the room to start discussing with them.

When he got over to where they were sitting he slammed his wand onto the desk and smirked at them. They already knew that he was going to be talking about the plan.

"Ok boys, first things first who wants to do the evil doing." Draco's eyes wandered over at Potter making sure he wasn't looking at them.

"I DO!" Crab and Goyle surprisingly managed to say at the same time.

"Well we'll all be apart of it, I want to be the big part where i can see him actually begging for me to save his life." Draco was hoping Crab and Goyle would agree to this.

"Fine, but we better not get some whimpy part of this. We want in the real action, where we get to put some pain onto him." Crab stumbled around his words as if he didn't really know what to say.

"BOYS! Quiet down back there, if you haven't noticed i'm trying to teach a class here!" The Professor screamed out with his tiny voice.

The First Time I saw him....I knew he was the one.

((Sorry for being absent the whole day; but all hail my dad, who fixed the internet after I slaved away for three hours on it! Now you know why tech support is so unsupportive, it's stocked with so-called geeks like me that can't do a thing.

Flitwick is the Ravenclaw head? O_o It's fate. My favourite subject & favourite house. Speaking of which, I'd cheerfully be the Ravenclaw Chaser. I don't mind losing too much, either; I'll just blame it all on Cho. And Harry, feel free to act on your suspicions. It's exciting. I feel all scheming and stuff, even though I'm just writing it.

I love Georgina! Not many people play evil people, but she's just . . . wow. You sort of feel compelled to bow down to her. Elf isn't quite evil yet, per se, but it'd be fun. ^^))

"Hello," Elf said to Georgina, smiling at her. "Slytherin, right? Uhm, have we met? We must be distantly related somehow . . ." She paused for breath, rummaging noisily in her bookbag as Harry Potter seemed to look at her. He'd seen her book, but had he read the title?

As Harry turned to talk to Dana, she continued. "Related to that prefect, Draco Malfoy, by any chance?" She dropped a quill on the table, genuinely interested in the answer.

(( OOC I'm sorry, everyone, but I'm bowing out for good.

I think we all tried not to make it "boh-ring" but it's been frustrating for me, personally, because so many important characters are missing, and this entire rp is just not what it was supposed to be originally. Amb set this up as 6th year so that each character would know their own history and motivations. I joined to play Harry's character in HBP, knowing there would be some deviation from the literal story, but also expecting each character's motives would be pretty specific. Again, I'm really sorry to everyone who put so much effort into their Rp's, I really enjoyed that part of it!

stylequeen, I'm really sorry but this just isn't for me anymore. I'm sure you'll have no problem finding another Harry. Let me know if you want me to delete my rp's or leave them as is. ))

I really loved the idea of this rp but I think as it is now, we should close it. Maybe we could start again later, when there are not so many other rp's and when most people have more time tp play
I hope ambnumer will read this ...

I don't really understand what you mean by deviation from the actually book? How can I make a scenario with you all in it if you stick to the book. "Oh probably" said Georgina, looking bored of the class already. She could see Draco across the room talking to Crabbe and Goyle, and hoped he wouldn't do anything particularly embrassing "All of us purebloods are realted somehow aren't we".

Georgina
gestured across the room to Draco. "He's my cousin of sorts, our fathers are cousins. Of course it makes sense for both the Slytherin prefects to be from our family" she said, with a superior look on her face.
