This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Game crashes at birth
Recently I've encourtered a problem where one of my sims goes into labour, and the game crashes out, repeatedly. It seems to only occur with the sims that have this custom skin tone I have downloaded, does anyone know why this is happening? I've read on TheSims2.com BBS that there are times when it will crash at birth when the custom skin tone did not have one created for a baby ( I have NO idea if this is true or not), But i did bring this concern to the creator and she has assured me that there is a tone for all ages, baby-elder, and we've still no idea why this is occuring with this skin tone only . If anyone else can tell me anything on this, or if anyone has experienced this themselves, please let me know, I would greatly appreciate any help you can give

There's a link in post 6. It's a fix made by JM Pescado. I think that'll help you.

what exactly does this fix do? I cant find any information on what it does. My problem isnt exactly like theirs either, The window pops up telling me "There is a new member to the family" then the game crashes out immediately. Can anyone tell me what this fix does exactly?

And thank you for the respons Angelf ^-^ If i can find out some information on this hack I will give it a try.

Alright, thanks again for the information Angelf. Hopefully I can find something out about this. (again, if anyone else has experienced the problem I would still like to hear about it and what you may have done to fix it.)
