Default How rich a sim has to be...
I wonder how rich a sim has to be to accomplish "marry a rich sim" fortune aspiration... I'm about to marry a couple but one of them wants to marry a rich sim. I'm afraid his fiancée is not rich enough...

They need to have earned 30,000 or more.

Do you mean 50,000-100,000 simoleans? Because 50 or 100 is WAY too less.. Its different for most sims though. I had Dina marry Mortimer Goth, and apparently he wasn't rich enough to be a 'rich sim', but when Cassandra got married to Don, she got the memory of 'married a rich sim'. It is usually around 50,000 to 100,000 simoleans though.

Probably the best way to be sure is to check their memories and see if they have one of earning over that amount. It's a want I've only fulfilled once since I usually ignore it.

In order to marry a rich sim, one of the following conditions must be satisfied:

1. The sim must move onto a lot with a net worth >= 50K.
2. The spouse moving in must bring 50K in cash, either because the family she lives in has > 500K in cash, or because she is the only resident of a lot with a net worth >= 50K.

Just to add to this, in general motherlode does not full fill this want. In the instances I have tried, and like CynicalChick , have only managed it once, the rich sim needs to have a memory of having earned the money. I, too, tend to ignore this want. so have not tested to see if there is a workaround for it.
