This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, Ambitions, Generations, Seasons, University Life
In need of winRAR help please!
I just dowloaded WinRAR today, realizing that I would need it if I wanted to download the Resource.cfg (http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php...3_Package_Files) needed to use custom content for TS3.
The only problem is...I have absolutely no idea how to use winRAR.
Once I extract the files, where do they go?
I tried extracting them straight to the file they needed to be in (C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\) but I kept getting a pop-up window that said...
1. Cannot create resource.cfg
2. Access is Denied
3. No Files to extract

So what exactly am I to do?

All of your questions are already addressed in that Wiki.
Have you tried the MonkeyBars Framework Installer tool instead of doing it manually, in "the REALLY easy way"?
That Wiki FAQ also has suggestions for that "access denied" issue in the Permissions Addendum. Did none of those work?
