Interior Windows Give Light Mod
If you want light in your houses, you need to make sure all of your rooms have at least one outside wall, so you can have windows that bring in light. You can put in lamps, of course, but nothing looks as good as that lovely outdoor light.A user named Aengine on Reddit asked for a mod that would allow windows on interior walls to also provide light, and that's what this mod does. It's not terribly realistic, but that's fine; if you don't want it, just don't download it. :-)
This mod only works on the Maxis windows that are in the file I hacked.
These are the 1) The Single-Pane Fixed Window,
2) the Single-Hung Window,
3) the Privacy Window,
4) the Windsor Window,
5) the Monticello Window,
6) the Monticello Window Full Length,
7) the El Sol Window, and
8) the Plate Glass Window.
You can get it at http://corylea.com/WindowMod.html
You can see the difference it makes:
INSTALLATION: This does NOT go in your Downloads folder; put this in your The Sims\GameData\Objects folder, and it will override the Windows.iff file that's inside the Objects.far file.
Have fun!

Thank you, Corylea!
I'm actually in need of this for a house I'm building right now. I have a center room and there are no outside walls! Has to be that way, as I'm replicating a real building.
Can't wait to partake of another one of your creations!!!
Edited: I just tried it and it works Beautifully!!!!! What a difference. Thanks again and thank you to the person who requested it. Just what a needed and great timing.
